The European Centre for Women and Technology functioning as the leading European multi-stakeholder platform for the women in ICT & STEAM agenda as endorsed by the European e-Skills Association, is honored and delighted to join the Hellenic Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs for launching #GIL4W – the Greek Innovation Lab for Women. ECWT is committed to deliver an added value in terms of knowledge transfer, network, financing and the measurement of the impact of the #GIL4W Action Plan implemented 2021-2025.

The Model

The model for #GIL4W developed by the European Centre for Women and Technology has been tailored to the needs of the members of the hub built on: extensive context research, stakeholders mapping, survey and analysis of the needs of the target group, deep interviews, collection and analysis of international good examples, incorporating of the UN Women´s Innovation Strategy and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and linking to the EU Green Deal, the Digital Investment Plan for Europe and the EU Post-COVID Recovery Plan.

Our Priorities

In defining the #GIL4W main priorities, all the founding members have been asked to submit their recommendations taking into account the Greek national policy and E.U. principles and guidelines such as shared concept notes on digital skills, so that specific targeted actions to be discussed and evaluated under specific criteria and KPIs.
