The Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) organized the online event “Knowledge-intensive Women Entrepreneurship: opportunities and challenges”, in the framework of the Weekly Women Entrepreneurship initiative (https://www.montclair.edu/entrepreneur/), on October 20, 2022, from 17:30 to 19:30.
This world-class initiative was launched by the Universities of New Jersey in the USA working on Entrepreneurship. This year it is in its 9th year with the participation of more than 140 universities around the world (among them Babson, University of Michigan, UNC, Princeton, Cornell, University of Iowa, SetonHall, Georgetown, etc.).
From Greece, for the fourth consecutive year, NTUA and the Laboratory of Industrial and Energy Economics of the School of Chemical Engineering, in collaboration with the incubator EPI.noo of NTUA, are participating. The aim of the event is to highlight important aspects of female entrepreneurship in our country and to showcase innovative knowledge-intensive ventures (which may even be in their early stages, with particular emphasis on the exploitation of research results). At the same time, it also aims to focus on the most important challenges for female entrepreneurship in Greece, as well as on the opportunities that are likely to emerge in the Greek entrepreneurial ecosystem.
