Promoted policies for the balance between the professional and family life of women, but also their integration into the labor market and placement in leadership positions, are implemented by the Ministry of Labor.
“We are adopting effective social policies that facilitate the creation of a family in combination with policies in favor of gender equality”, stressed the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, in charge of Demographic Policy and Family, Maria Syregela, during her speech at the hybrid conference Minister for Demography entitled “Shaping Europe’s Demographic Future, Pathways for Societies to Thrive in a World of Rapid Demographic Change” of the UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) held in Sofia, Bulgaria and online.
